Distance Between explores the notions of space, place and the void. In utilising the natural characteristic of light within blown glass I intended to create minimal forms that evoke a sense of space and depth through the amalgamation of light and tone. These pieces utilise the interior spaces of blown glass to create a tonal sense of space as a representation of the vastness of open landscape and the horizon.
