Landscape Series

These works are influenced by the vastness and colours of the natural Australian landscape. Using a Swedish glass blowing graal technique, I use layers of coloured glass and carving to represent the colour and space of the Australian landscape. 

The materiality of blown glass generates a physical presence; like sacred monuments or remnants of a past. These works invite the viewer to touch, explore and evoke a sense of the vast spaces that define our unique environment.
