This body of work is a personal investigation of the processes and materiality of blown glass. Paying homage to the utilitarian history of glass blowing, I am exploring traditional Italian techniques of murrine and cane and the limitless sculptural potential of these pattern-making materials.

My interest in the origin and development of the physical world provides a strong aesthetic influence. The growth of mineral and crystal provides the repetitive motif for the work, representing both the evolution of glass as a material and the technical and artistic processes involved.
